Antler Showcases 28 Asian AI Startups Focused on Autonomous Systems
Among the cohort, seven startups are developing agentic enterprise AI solutions and six focus on AI‑native commerce and consumer engagement, together accounting for nearly half the cohort. Examples include CONPA, an AI‑powered construction cost‑estimating agent; IndustrialMind, an AI manufacturing engineer that converts technical drawings into production‑ready decisions; and Shiplinker, which applies AI‑powered decision intelligence to global maritime operations. CONPA’s agent uses machine learning models trained on historical construction data to generate cost estimates within minutes, while IndustrialMind’s system translates CAD drawings into actionable production parameters.
The AI infrastructure and developer tools category features AppSec AI, which automatically fixes software security vulnerabilities, and Nugen Intelligence, which builds AI alignment infrastructure to improve enterprise reliability. Healthcare and life sciences startups represented include Alphagrid, Maia Care and Verixus Labs. Robotics and physical AI companies include Beyond Robotics, which focuses on agricultural harvesting automation, and LambdAI Space, which transforms satellite data into asset‑level intelligence. AppSec AI’s tool integrates with continuous integration pipelines to automatically detect and remediate vulnerabilities, whereas Nugen Intelligence focuses on aligning AI models with domain constraints to reduce failure rates in mission‑critical applications.
Jussi Salovaara, co‑founder and managing partner for Asia at Antler, said every industry is about to get a new workforce, some physical and some digital. The showcase represents the full stack of that shift being built out of Asia for the world, the executive added. Salovaara emphasized that the shift to autonomous systems will change workforce composition, requiring new skill sets in AI development, data curation and system integration. The event also marks a milestone in Antler’s regional strategy, with Korea and Japan now part of a unified Asia platform alongside Southeast Asia. The firm has also expanded its focus on China‑outbound entrepreneurship, backing founders building globally oriented companies from inception.
Aspire, a venture partner of Antler, announced that it will target doubling startup‑led growth in 2026, aligning with Antler’s expanded geographic and thematic focus. Aspire’s goal of doubling startup‑led growth reflects a broader push by regional investors to accelerate the commercialization of AI technologies across Asia. The partnership signals a coordinated effort to support early‑stage AI companies across the region, particularly those developing autonomous systems and agentic solutions that can scale globally.
The showcase underscores a growing emphasis on autonomous agents that can perform complex tasks without continuous human oversight. By concentrating on AI‑native businesses, Antler is positioning its portfolio to capture opportunities in sectors where automation can deliver significant efficiency gains. The inclusion of startups from Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia also reflects the region’s increasing capacity to produce high‑tech AI solutions that compete on a global stage. The portfolio’s focus on autonomous systems is timely, as global demand for AI‑driven automation in manufacturing, logistics and energy management has risen sharply in the past year.
At present, Antler has not disclosed funding amounts for the individual startups in the showcase, nor has it announced any follow‑up investment rounds. The companies are expected to continue developing their products and seeking additional capital as they move toward market entry. Antler’s focus on autonomous systems and AI agents aligns with broader industry trends that prioritize agentic AI, and the partnership with Aspire may accelerate the scaling of these early‑stage ventures. Industry observers note that Antler’s strategy aligns with the increasing interest in agentic AI, which is expected to become a core component of next‑generation enterprise software.
